About Stop Climate Chaos Coalition

Stop Climate Chaos Coalition is the UK’s largest group of people dedicated to action on climate change and limiting its impact on the world’s poorest communities. Their combined supporter base of more than 11 million people spans over 100 organisations, from environment and development charities to unions, faith, community and women's groups.

Together they demand practical action by the UK to prevent global warming rising beyond the 2 degrees C danger threshold.

They want the UK Government to:

• Show leadership to help create a fair international deal by 2010 to keep global warming below the 2 degrees C danger threshold to protect people and the planet.

• Take immediate practical action to deliver substantial, sustained annual emissions reductions, ensuring that the UK meets its fair share of the international effort to keep global warming below 2 degrees C.

• Provide poor countries with the resources they need to help them adapt to climate change and follow a low carbon development path.
